Why does religion need to be taught in science cl?

If you want to learn about god, go to church. Or maybe take a religion course in school. But why do christians insist on having god in science when they really don't mix? I really don't care if you believe in Creationism, but that is for church or a christian cl. Lets save the science cl for what scientists, not preachers, have to say.
