Does my ex boyfriend want to get back?

? my boyfriend broke up with me about a week ago because i went out and he thinks cheated on him! i even went to see him that same night so he can see i wasnt with another guy. that night i stayed over his house and i thought he forgave me we made love and he kissed me and hugged me and said he forgives me but the next day he said he gave it alot of thought and it cant be the same with us! he broke up with me and i just stoped insisting he texted me three days ago and said he wants to stay friends i texted back saying it was fine and he texed back right away saying he is happy we can remain friends i didnt text back after that. about two days ago he puts on my facebook he likes a new pic i posted i still didnt call him. Last night he texted me asking if I still love him and miss him. I said yea and he said he love and miss me to but that I had to messed things up and that it wouldnt be the same. He said he wants to see me. I just don't understand him. Does he want to work things out?
