Why are gay men so harsh to each other?

Ugh! I wish I knew... At school I don't get along with gay people at all. They are like very flamboyant and they get on everyone's nerves. I personally just used to hang around girls until this last school year where in high school lots of gay kids come out. I never denied I was gay but wasn't very open about it. Anywho, this last year I started hanging around with straight guys and they would actually tell me I was a cool gay dude to hang around with. Idk why all of the gay kids at school were mean, its not like I was dying to talk to them, all of my crushes were straight. Haha.... And well the flamboyant gay guys are ugh! All of the gay kids at school looked fake I mean they overacted their gay act. As for me I was girly but didn't over do it.
