Proponents of intelligent design, what would be your method...?

what would be your method to go about disproving the hypothesis of irreducible complexity? yes, i said proponents, and yes, i said disprove. it's the mark of any good scientific theory, to be able to stand up to the scrutiny of the scientific community. in other words, in order to go from hypothesis to theory in science, one must subject it to tests in an attempt to prove it wrong. one of evolutions biggest tests came in the form of the study of genetics. in the end genetics did not disprove evolution but ended up supporting it. likewise, what would be your method for attempting to disprove irreducible complexity or intelligent design all together?
