Please help me figure out the name of these movies!!!?

All I rember was that it was a disney movie. I know it was abut a rich guy whose cousin comes to vist him in californa. He promises to take him to disney land and do alot of fun things but gets cought up in his own stuff. When the rich guys parents find out they send him to live on the ranch with his cousin and he learns that family is the most important. They alll so made a sequel to it and it was about them going on a trip and they get stranded on an island. i think. I dont know why I thought of it but it poped in my head for some reason and I cant think of the name and its buggin me to death!! I would greatly appricate it!
