In your opinion, were Romeo and Juliet in love or infatuated with eachother?

I think there was definate infatation but I think there may have been love at the root of it all. I believe that love at first sight can happen ( I know I'm sentimental) and I think they their marriage couldn't have worked if there hadn't been true love between them. I love the play in all it's adaptations and I believe that you should take it as you find it. Personally I think it was lust that was followed by true love.
