It could be taken either way. I'm sure that she meant it like you are way too talented and have too much potential to limit yourself to one thing. like that. She probably thinks you mean a restaurant like IHOP or something small like that. Don't be offended by it, but she could have said it in a different way so it wouldn't be so rude.
